What you’ll learn

The Mindful Eating Process
Enhance mindfulness around your food-related behaviors, biology, and beliefs through self-awareness practices, self-compassion, and an exploration of your own food narrative. 
Root causes and triggers of emotional eating 
From stress and lack of sleep to body “ideals” and diet culture, we’ll deconstruct common biases and norms that fuel unhelpful habits. Plus, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of your relationship with food. 
Connecting to intuitive nutrition
Eating for both health and pleasure can coexist! Learn to deconstruct your cravings, find a more intuitive middle ground with food, and be empowered to shift your mindset and break habits that may lead to health issues.
Nourishment beyond food
We’ll encourage you to create a more vibrant life through self-healing tools found off your plate, including relationships, self-care, and more. A well-rounded you is a more balanced you!
Integrate a mindful approach to eating into a health coaching practice
If you’re a Health Coach, you’ll be ready to take bio-individuality one step further in your coaching sessions, giving you the tools to confidently coach clients on the complexities around food choices and emotional well-being.

You’re a Health Coach looking to earn continuing education and/or a certificate in a niche area of health.
You've developed a pattern of dealing with your emotions by reaching into the fridge or pantry even when you're not hungry, triggering feelings of shame and guilt.
You struggle with body image and want to live in a body you love.
You want to strengthen your own food relationship and, as a Health Coach or other wellness professional, help others do the same.

What do I need to get started?


In order to successfully take and complete IIN’s Mindful Eating Course, you must speak English. Aside from that, this course is open to anyone! While we encourage students to have a foundational knowledge of what health coaching is, you don’t need to be an IIN student or graduate to enroll.

Access your course anywhere you have an Internet connection, whether you’re on the go or in the comfort of your own home – there’s no limit to when or how you can learn!
Audio and video curriculum  
Audio and video lectures provide an in-depth overview of emotional eating and tools for adopting a mindful eating approach so you can coach yourself or hone your skills as a Health Coach to support others on their journey to healing their relationship with food.
Food Relationship Journal 
Each module includes guided journal pages for you to apply new concepts, track your progress, and reflect on your learning and growth as you go through the mindful eating framework for yourself. 
Live calls
Connect in real time for mentorship during regularly scheduled calls. Deepen your exploration in a safe space, both personally and professionally. Each call is recorded to revisit for continued motivation and inspiration.
Content Library 
Gain access to additional health and coaching resources to get the most out of this powerful course, including bonus videos and done-for-you client handouts.
